Pocket tissue covers

I enjoy making these. And they are practical too!
Pocket tissue covers in various colors.

Aqua bag

My friend had asked me to duplicate a bag she liked into crochet.
An exciting venture. The shaping, colors, lining...  everything would be a challenge.
And I'm pleased with the end result.
The whole bag is worked in two pieces joined in the middle. A little tricky but it came out really very well.
 A nice spacious bag.

More glass covers

Glass covers in cotton thread with bead edging. Crocheting these coasters go very fast. It's when you start the beaded part that takes a long time.....but worth the effort. I've made and sold many of these covers. These two are the latest.

Coffee coasters

Coasters done with Anchor Knitting cotton.

The phoebe bag

Three posts in one day! Blogger is co-operating today.

My latest bag and I sewed it. Thank God  I had saved this pattern a long time back as now I can't access the site as typepad is blocked for some reason. So frustrating!!!!!!!!
The instructions were very good & the best part is that the bag is so light and roomy.

The telemark pullover

My first knitted project - that I can show off!
I really like this pattern by Erika Flory. It's simple & fast &I didn't make any mistakes. Not bad at all for me. (the pattern is available on ravelry)
Since I don't know if it's going to be a boy or a girl, I choose a very bright color. I used size 5mm needle & 2 strands of Hariri yarn held together. I made it a little big- hopefully it'll fit my baby when it gets really cold here.

Quilled sunshine flowers

I had made this a while back. Just never got around to blogging about it. Sitting is a big NO these days. And I still have two more months to go, InshAllah. Can't wait.
I enjoyed making these flowers (sunshine bright). They were a little tricky assembling but well worth the effort. I'm so trying out different color combos. Should be interesting.

Before the frame

 And framed!

 Close up of the flowers

Have a nice day! And a ramadan kareem to all!

Crochet bag- with scrap yarn

A really nice & spacious bag!

I had made this bag last year when I was in the bag-making-craze. Used a lot of scrap yarn! Very happy with the way this turned out.

Quilled Water Lily

My flower in a bowl.
Inspired by Inna who made this. I loved the way she used a bowl for display. I got mine from Daiso &. I searched on google for water flowers &  liked this water lily.

My kids & niece helped roll the paper for the bowl.

What i did yesterday

It's been a while since my last post. (I'm blaming that on  being pregnant & tooooo tired to do anything)
Did do lots of crochet .(I'll try & post the pictures soon).
I wanted to try something new.
And so did some web surfing yesterday & I came across this and this.

I made mine with embroidery floss & some beads from a broken necklace.

I love the way these have turned out. Please do check out these sites. Lots of beautiful things.
Have a nice day.
